Your First Visit

We're so excited to welcome you to Mullen Family Orthodontics! Your first visit with us is all about getting to know you/your child, learning about your smile goals, and educating you on the best timing and interventions for your particular bite. Our goal is to make your first visit easy, informative, and maybe even a little fun. We look forward to meeting you and helping you take the first step toward a healthier, more confident smile.

1. Before you Arrive

We’ll send you your new patient paperwork to complete ahead of time – that way, when you come in, we can get started right away!

2. Orthodontic Records

After introducing you to our office, we’ll take a full set of orthodontic records, including photos, digital x-rays, and a 3D scan of your teeth. These records help us get a complete picture of your bite and plan the best treatment just for you.

3. Consultation

Once we’ve compiled your records, Dr. Mullen will spend time with you to answer your questions and review your treatment options, whether you’re interested in braces, clear aligners, or simply exploring what’s possible. Dr. Mullen prides himself on being honest and transparent with his treatment recommendations and what the best timing for treatment will be. 

4. Financial Review

Our treatment coordinator will review your insurance benefits with you and discuss our flexible, zero-interest payment plans. We’ll work with you to customize your monthly payments to fit comfortably within your budget.
