Dr. Ray Lubberts

​Originally from Michigan, Dr. Lubberts completed his undergraduate degree at Hope College. He graduated with honors from one of the top dental schools in the country, the University of Michigan.  There he was awarded in Pediatric Dentistry and was elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon.  Following dental school, Dr. Lubberts volunteered at Kwangju Christian Hospital’s dental residency serving and instructing in the program.  He then became a certified specialist in orthodontics at UCLA. Concurrently he earned a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology.  Dr. Lubberts’ research was in the use of implants to produce orthopedic and dental change.

Dr. Lubberts loves his profession.  He was a clinical instructor and lecturer at the UCLA graduate orthodontic program for twenty five years.  He received the Clinical Instructor of the Year award on multiple occasions.   Dr. Lubberts is a member of several professional organizations including:  American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, and the Edward H. Angle Society of Southern California. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Lubberts is committed to his family and faith.  He has been married to his wife, Sue, for 33 years.  They enjoy sports and games of all kinds, physical conditioning and travel.  Active in their church, they presently participate in feeding “families in need.” They have two sons, Jeff and David.  Both sons went through the Conejo school system:  Westlake Elementary, Colina and Westlake High School.
